Jan. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Oprah Winfrey may be appointed U.S. ambassador to South Africa, the Mail & Guardian reported, citing an unidentified official in the U.S. embassy.
Winfrey may replace Eric Bost, the Johannesburg-based newspaper said.
Winfrey hosts a popular TV show in the U.S. and owns a school in South Africa known as the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.
